Back 4 Blood is a zombie game in which you have to survive increasingly challenging missions, with competitive scene where you can play with friends online and kill hordes of terrifying creatures bent on eating your brains! There is a cooperative campaign, competitive multiplayer, and just good old fighting against humanity’s extinction. Normal stuff.
So, the deadly parasite has turned your friends into terrifying creatures. What are you going to do about it?
Imagine this scenario – all your friends are dead, and a zombie apocalypse is raging everywhere. What is your first instinct? Well – probably to fight them back! And that’s the main attraction of this game. It just lets you do that without putting too many problems your way.
Back 4 Blood is a cooperative first-person shooter where you need to work together with strangers to survive. There are many game modes and mechanics that make it an even crazier experience – custom decks of new abilities, corruption cards, and civilization on the brink of extinction. Play Back 4 Blood to take back what is ours!
Creators of the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock Studios, are known for the incredible “feel” of the games. In the Left 4 Dead franchise, everything needed to be experienced together – demanding fights and sharing resources in a group of four. Back 4 Blood expanded on this universe to give us even more possibilities to kill those not-very-nice zombie invaders.
So, what are the different experiences of gaming in this dynamic and perilous world where most humans are at war with each other?
If there is something you really can say about Back 4 Blood is that it has an amazing cooperative campaign with four players to join!
Choose one of the eight Cleaners left in this godforsaken world and do what you do best – kill hordes of zombies! Each Cleaner has a different backstory to follow and different abilities to help out your team. Remember to choose your character wisely to support the created team of characters - it’s a key to survival.
There’s a wide range of customizable weapons, from melee combat to some serious gunpower. Add-ons increase your fire rate, accuracy and even give you some special kinds of bullets to get rid of the plague.
You can also change how you weapon looks! Once human hosts a zombie it’s not that important really, but it still can be a great way to pass your time during the zombie apocalypse.
It’s the multi where the fun begins! Left 4 Dead was known for great multiplayer action and so is Back 4 Blood. You can choose between the previously mentioned Cleaners and the horrific Ridden! There are many variations of it, with different playing strategies for each of them so make sure to check out what it’s like to be hungry for brains.
There are some amazing abilities on each side with zombies having a not-so-slight advantage. So – remember to play your cards right and choose the best solution to this pesky problem!
In every mode, you can choose a Deck that you want to use during that game. It is essentially a group of powerups for you or your team to choose from. They range from tactical equipment addons, more ammunition through quicker aiming and more damage output in the end.
Remember not only to choose what is best for you but think about the team! It can really benefit you in the long run. There are many creative ways to maneuver the zombie apocalypse, so talk with your friends!
In Back 4 Blood, you can always expect the unexpected! The Game Director watches players’ actions and makes sure that you can always get the best experience there is to get in this vast and crazy world! Whether we are talking about twitches in the gameplay or some additional content – there is a lot to experience.
Remember to check out from time to time what happened in the game. Some Legends say that there are tougher legions of Ridden to be found. They say that there is a mutated boss type who can even go up to over 6 meters!
